Hello everyone! Today, I wanted to share my November coffee chat!

I actually haven’t been drinking coffee very much lately. I’ve been having a lot of tea though, specifically lemongrass (at least, I think that’s the English translation – my parents just refer to it in Spanish!). So here’s what I’d tell you for this Tea Chat!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, how weird last month was. There were a few really bad events, including my grandfather having a very unexpected and serious health problem. Luckily he is okay now and the other bad event are resolved now. But wow that was a shock. But through all the bad, there was a lot of good too, so I suppose it balances out? Stress-wise, not quite though!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, about my NaNoWriMo project! This year I am attempting a very different type of novel than I normally opt for. While I tend to lean towards the dystopian YA ideas inspired by the books of my youth, this year I’m trying a more of a literary novel revolving around a book club. Should be fun!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, about my Bookstagram! I have been enjoying my Bookstagram still, and I find it hilarious that every time I feel like I am almost caught up, I suddenly realize I’ve fallen behind again! I post once a day every weekday, so I might have to increase that in hopes to catch up by the end of the year.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, about my house hunt! I found the loveliest little house in my town for sale recently and I’m very, very tempted to put in an offer. I didn’t intend to do so at first, I was just going to open houses for fun, but I really liked that little house! Of course, it is silly to impulsively buy a whole house, so I’m trying to wait for the excitement to cool off, but the FOMO is real!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, that I am feeling a bit disconnected from my blog recently. I do still enjoy it and have a good time, but I just don’t feel the pull to blog as much lately! Maybe I need a break?
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, work has been very low-key for me lately! I should be heading into a busy season soonish, but for now I’ve had minimal work to do, even when begging my coworkers and boss for something to do! How crazy!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, Foxy was an incredibly naughty boy last month so I’m really hoping for a better month soon. It was bad enough that I actually did ask my parents (who I live with) if they preferred that I take Fox back to the shelter, as now it has been over a year with him and his behavior was more like what it was when he first arrived instead of how he has been in the past few months. Ultimately we decided we aren’t giving up on him, but it was still very frustrating that he was behaving so badly.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, all about my monthly challenge update! Last month I attempted to spend time outdoors as much as possible! I would say that except for the coldest days, I did manage to either go for a short walk, go for a hike, or just sit outside on the patio. I really enjoyed the time I could spend outside although it is slowly getting way too cold for that.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, about my goal to create inspiration! I think this month will go great for this goal. I’m writing a new book, did a painting class, have a ton of appointments coming up. I think I’m doing a good job of keeping up with everything! I hope it all goes smoothly so I can continue to inspire myself to keep everything running correctly!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, about my goal again, but better. I do think I am equal parts doing stuff again, but using the lessons learned to do it better versus just new experiences but also relating to other past experiences. But on other things, not so much. I completely neglected prepping for blogmas last month for example, and I have learned in the past that I have to get a head start before November or I’ll struggle. But on the other hand, writing my book is going better because I did some prep work for that beforehand. So I’m not sure I can say I’m doing well for this one but that’s just a chance to try to improve!
So that’s my update! Hope your November goes well!
Thanks for reading!

Your monthly outdoor challenge sounds great – I just wish we had less storms in the UK so I can go for a chilly but dry autumnal walk! Great post! Looking forward to the next coffee chat!
