Hello everyone! Today, I’m going to be sharing all my fun updates related to my hobbies from September!

I have quite a bit of stuff to chat about so let’s get started!
My Lively
Creative Fun
DIYs
Okay, I have two DIY updates! First up is a wine cork grapes project! We painted the ends of a few wine corks to look like burgundy/purple grapes, then hot glued them together to look like a bunch of grapes, and finished by adding leaves on the top. I shared it in my Insta stories recently!
I also did a take home craft, as I was traveling the week of the project. It was a sunflower wreath! In the kit we got a fake tree branch wreath, fake sunflowers, some fake wheat/grass sort of filler stuff, and a bit of ribbon! I’ll have to share a picture of it and the grapes on my Instagram I think, since I’m actually getting more into Insta again. I’ll be sure to do so soon, it’ll be under my StarringPamela account!
Bujo
I really enjoyed filling in my bujo this month. I adding in things like my plane tickets from my vacation to Mexico, some little bits I picked up from Mexico, and then different things like updates for the student loan forgiveness stuff.
Entertainment
Books
As always, I’m listing all the books I’ve finished since the previous Lively post below with their star ratings. All thoughts on them are saved for future (or even past!) Mini Book Review posts but those will be linked below if so. I won’t include any books that I didn’t finish although I’ll be sure to add them into the review posts.
Also, I started a Bookstagram! Find me under @StarringPamelaReads on Instagram!
Since my last post, I read 8 books.

- Better Together by Christine Riccio, 3.75 stars

TV Shows
This month I started watching Indian Matchmaking on Netflix! I know the second season just came out but I hadn’t seen season one yet! I did finish season one, so I’m excited for two! I really enjoyed the first season. Honestly, it seems like a much better idea than online dating so low-key I was considering Googling hispanic matchmakers LOL. I still might honestly.
I also started Selling the OC finally! I went on vacation for two weeks a few days after the first season went up on Netflix, so I waited until I got back to start watching. It’s fine so far, but the cast is so big it’s pretty intimidating. Plus, it feels too similar to Sunset and not really in a good way? I’ll have to keep watching though.
I also watched more episodes from my favorite shows: Community, Gilmore Girls, and Madam Secretary. I’m on season five of Community, about halfway through the “Spring” episode of A Year In the Life in Gilmore Girls, and about halfway through the first season of Madam Secretary.
Podcasts/YouTube
Not too much to share here! Mostly been watching The Morning Toast and Ladies & Tangents on Youtube (both are podcasts).
Active Life
Tai Chi
I did got to Tai Chi this month! There was a new instructor, so that was exciting. The new instructor is more focused on balance and slow movements than the previous one! But the class was pretty good overall. I did find it amusing that the library staff was so chaotic about the class though. The class was moved to a different room than usual, and no one seemed to know where it was, since it is hidden away in the back of the children’s section. I did happen to know where it was so found some other people looking for the room and led them over. When the librarian in the children’s section saw us, she asked if I was the instructor. When I said no it was almost like the entire library staff started to panic that they had a hoard of adults infiltrating the children’s section without the instructor. We waited on some couches meant for parents and their kids to read on (no parents or kids were around so we weren’t keeping them from sitting or anything) and the instructor did arrive after a few minutes. I thought it was a little bit much as my two librarian friends later mentioned they had gotten multiple texts about the instructor not being there on time. But she did arrive and it was fun!
Forest Bathing
I went to a forest bathing event as well this month! It’s basically like a therapeutic/meditative event where we get to go out and reflect on different prompts given to us. It was a lot of fun and another gal and I partnered up to chat a few times and enjoyed our talk. We had a great time!
ballet/Jazz
I went back to my ballet and jazz classes this month after I got back from vacation. We had one of our former classmates rejoin, which was super cool! In general, the classes continue to be a ton of fun and I do really enjoy the class still. I do think I’ll only sign up for ballet in the winter months, as jazz gets out a bit late for my liking now that it gets dark a lot earlier. I’m really going to miss it though since I do enjoy jazz!
Zumba
While in Mexico, one of the neighbors in a home I was staying in invited me to join her for a virtual zumba class! It was a ton of fun and really felt similar to my jazz class. I really enjoyed it and would love to find more zumba classes someday!
So that’s a bit of what I got up to this month! I had a good time and really enjoyed my vacation, so I’m really grateful for this past month!
Thanks for reading!
