Hello everyone! Today, I am sharing what I’d talk about if we were having coffee!

Today, I’m using a fun oatmilk caramel coffee creamer with my coffee and I love it! Also, I did find out that ground coffee in Kcups and other brands is all the same no matter what brand it is. Well, I saw it on TikTok but from various people so it must be true (maybe). Anyway, I thought that would be fun to bring up.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, how June was such a roller coaster of a month! It started a bit down but really picked up and now I’m so excited to go into July. I have some travel planned, a lot of fun plans, and I am so excited to see what else the month brings!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, all about how my jazz class is going! I’ve taken ballet for a few years now, but I just started taking jazz too. It’s a whole new world! It’s been a ton of fun although I’m not good at it at all. Also, it does get a little confusing as the steps sometimes have the same name as ballet steps but are completely different. When I pointed that out though another gal who has primarily done jazz yelled out “now you know how I feel!” which, I totally do. LOL!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, about my bookstagram! I have mostly been able to post a different book every weekday since I’m still catching up with the books I’ve read so far this year but I completely dropped the ball one week and got almost a full week behind. I’m working on catching up now! I just wrapped up posting the books I’ve read through March and started on my April books. I’m not sure what I’ll do after I catch up, besides just post less often? We shall see! I am going through a bit of a reading slump right now, so hopefully I can pick up my reading again soon.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, how I feel about that whole Roe v. Wade thing. I am so incredibly disappointed in the Supreme Court! They need to stay in their lane and stop regulating women’s bodies, especially since most of them are old men. Ugh, those disgusting Tr*mp appointees especially suck. Now, I am fortunate to live in Illinois where I do feel safe and I am privileged enough that I wouldn’t be terribly worried anyway, but still! I especially feel for the women who WILL suffer from this. While I won’t go on about it too much more, I will say that then vaccines should be required if we’re going to be dictating what decisions people can and can’t make about their own bodies.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, I would tell you all about how I have been doing more exercise, which is so unlike me. I’ve talked about taking my pup for little hikes, doing tai chi once a month, and my dance classes. But I’ve also now picked up yoga again! It’s been fabulous! I also got little biking machine that goes under my desk so I’ve been doing that a bit too. I’m loving this whole new me!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, work is sure to be exciting this month! I do have some work travel this month, and it’ll be my first onsite with this company. At my old job, I worked there for years before I got my first onsite and I haven’t even been at this company for a year yet so that’s exciting! I will say, I was surprised as I did take the job knowing I would not be traveling, but it looks like I do have that opportunity now! How fun!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, how Foxy is going to have a dogsitter this month for a few days! So I’m going to be leaving him with a coworker during my work trip. I am sad to leave him for multiple days, especially considering I haven’t left him for longer than one night, and that was one time! But the sitter is super excited to have him and I’m glad he’ll be making new friends!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, all about the monthly challenge last month! Of course, I’ll do a full post on it soon but I wanted to give a mini update here. I was disappointed when Foxy’s knee got hurt as the challenge was to take him on weekend adventures like hikes and such but I couldn’t with his knee. So it wasn’t anyone’s fault that we couldn’t do the challenge as I planned, but it was still fun to do what we could!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, about my goal, to create inspiration. I think I’ve been doing well with this one! My bookstagram is inspiring me to read more, hiking with Foxy is inspiring me to work out more, and more dance classes is inspiring me to lose weight because I honestly do feel conscious about the fact that I am a bit chunky and trying to do ballet and jazz. I am also feeling inspired by taking up yoga again. I am doing a beginner friendly challenge through Jessica Richburg’s YouTube channel (which I think I learned about from a comment someone left me on the blog!) so it has been pretty easy but I was still surprised how well I took to it, considering I haven’t regularly practiced yoga since January. I think summer is just the optimal time to gather inspiration anyway!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you, about my yearly goal, again, but better. I think I need to be better about this goal! I don’t think I’ve really been doing anything “usual” lately, instead I’ve been trying out new experiences mostly so I haven’t had the chance to do anything again, but better. So I suppose that’s not a bad thing necessarily, but I am thinking I’ll have time to focus on this goal soon.
So that’s what I would share if I was having coffee with you! Let me know what you would share if we met up for a coffee!
Thanks for reading!

If were having coffee, I would tell you how exciting June was- that was an incredible month
June included a Hollywood themed Outdoor Symphony, Frozen, and finally got to Secrets of Dumbledore in theaters. I would even tell you about the books I read- the total was 3
I also agree about that whole Roe. Vs. Wode things on your view- seriously????? Our country can’t come down to that- they can’t be banned- yep, some Women will suffer
