If you’re new here (newer than May 2020) you might be wondering, what’s BirthMay? Well, every year I blog every day in May because it is my birth month. I just figured it was something fun to do, and it has proven to be really enjoyable for me. This will be the fifth BirthMay on my blog! No matter how many BirthMays you’ve been through with me, thank you for being here this BirthMay and thank you for your support!

Introducing BirthMay

So, what can you expect from this year’s BirthMay? If you’re familiar with my past BirthMays, you can expect similar posts that are tradition by now, such as updates for my yearly goals, and some weekly themed posts. This year I’ll be adding in the “Thursday Tales”, which are story time posts, mostly focusing on some fond memories from my undergraduate school days. I’m also going to be doing “Social Cause Saturday” and sharing some thoughts on social causes I care about.

I’ll also continue to write the usual posts like the ten mini book reviews or tv shows I’ve been watching. I would have likely written them anyway, and so I might as well share them as part of BirthMay!

I’m also going to be doing tons of other fun posts that aren’t as frequently shared on my blog such as posts that go more in depth into my hobbies or bucket lists I have. I think overall it’ll be a bit of a tame BirthMay as I’m not doing anything crazy like traveling as I have in the past, but I will likely reflect on the past year, share some revelations I’ve had about budgeting, and maybe some garden photos too.
