Hello everyone! Today, I wanted to share my Christmas Tree.

I always post a picture of my tree, so I figured it was time to share this one. I didn’t put up the small tree this year, just the big one so I won’t be sharing that one, but this one is fun!

Also, as you can see, I’m doing Blogmas again this year! That means I’ll be blogging every day until Christmas. I’ve done Blogmas in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 so I am happy to be participating again in 2020.

My 2020 Christmas Tree

So, normally each year I do a general theme for the tree. Not anything too crazy but usually a certain color theme and a few little decorations. This year, I really loved that black and white checker board type print but there was a problem. I don’t have black and white ornaments! Now, I could have gone out and bought some but there were a few problems with that plan too. First, we have a huge amount of bulbs and ornaments already! It’s such a pain to try to store it all as is, so I really didn’t want to get more stuff. Also, I’m still unemployed, so it seemed silly to spend money on something that’s not an important purchase. Instead, I did buy a 2 or 3 new ornaments in that black and white pattern, but otherwise, I decorated with every color we already have!

And here it is! (Special appearance by my puppy niece if you can spot her!)

Does the tree look absolutely insane with all those colors? It kinda does. Do I sorta regret this decorating decision? A little bit! Do my parents absolutely claim to love it and won’t let me change it now? Yup!

Also, this is not even half of the ornaments we own, so please note how crazy our Christmas situation is! I do like seeing all the colors together in a way. Mostly because all the decorations do remind me of all the fun themes over the years! If it was a “normal” year I’m sure that I would have gone out and bought black and white ornaments and decorated it properly but it truly isn’t necessary because we have so many ornaments already! Even if the tree does look a bit whacky, it’s still such a great Christmas Tree in my opinion!
