Hello everyone! Welcome to Blogmas day 23! Today, I thought I’d do a little recap of the year.

I figured it would be something fun to look back on my year after all! I decided to pick one main thing that represented the month and then link back to that month’s Life post in case you missed any.
January

I was so fortunate to start the month with a two week trip to Mexico! I go with the purpose of seeing my grandfather but my mom and I also did quite a lot of sightseeing. We ended up in Tolantongo, pictured above, as one of the many places we visited and it was a gorgeous mountain experience!
February

In February, I met a beluga! My sister got us a beluga encounter at the Shedd Aquarium as my Christmas gift and I LOVED it! Belugas are my absolute favorite animals and meeting two belugas was absolutely magical and beautiful. It’s hard not to realize how important protecting the oceans and the Earth as a whole is when gazing into Kimalu’s and Bethoveen’s sweet, intelligent eyes.
March

I had such a bittersweet last day of school in March. I was enrolled in a two year Masters program and finished classes halfway through the spring semester. It was so crazy to think how quickly the year flew by and I still couldn’t believe I’d actually done it!
April

In April, I was fortunate enough to go to Texas! First, I spent a week in the beautiful city of Houston for work. I was supporting an event called FIRST Championship where teams of students from around the world compete in a robotics tournament. It was so inspiring and uplifting! Then, I made my way to San Antonio for a week vacation. I was scouting out the city to see if it might be a good place to live and explored so much!
May

Now, it was BirthMay in May but the highlight of the month was graduation! I’d worked so hard and finally made it to walk across the stage. It was such a great ceremony, and I was so happy to share it with my family. They’re the ones who got me through it after all!
June

My sister and I went to see Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour in June! We had such a great time and seeing Ari was incredible.
July

In July, I was able to travel to Anaheim! I went for work, to support the event VidCon. Even though events are a lot of work, it’s always amazing to see it come together and a great joy to see it come to life. I was working closely with the featured creators, some of whom I’ve been watching on YouTube for years, and it was so cool! I also managed to get to Downtown Disney for a night, which was absolutely magical.
August

In August my sister and I went to New York City! She wanted to see a specific musical that was closing that weekend and when she extended the invitation I couldn’t say no. It was such a blast and I was so blown away by how much I loved the city.
September

September was a slow month honestly, so maybe don’t go back and read that one. Even so, it was nice to have a quiet month after a few hectic ones!
October

In October I met my puppy niece Arya! My sister adopted her early October and I raced into the city as soon as I could to meet her. She’s the sweetest little puppy ever and my first niece of any species and I LOVE HER SO MUCH. Welcome to the family Arya!
November

I had my last ballet class of the year! I couldn’t believe how quickly the year went and I’m so happy I was able to take two ballet classes this year instead of just the one in the summer!
December

This month has been full of holiday cheer. I really have had a great month overall and I’m so, so fortunate to have had an amazing year.
Let me know what your highlights this year were! I’m so curious!
Thanks for reading!
