Hello everyone! Welcome to Blogmas Day 10 AND Tag Me Tuesday! Today, I wanted to do a Christmas themed tag for you!

I’ve done so many of these so I don’t know if I’ve done some of these questions before but I found this one on a site called Content Career and wanted to do it. I think it’s meant to be in a video format so I did change some of the questions to make more sense in the blog format. Here’s the tag!
Merry Christmas Tag
- Share one noise that describes how excited you are for Christmas.
Sleigh bells!!! - What is the best present you’ve ever received?
I’ve been so lucky to get so many good ones but one of my all time favorites is one from my sister last year when she got me a beluga encounter at the Shedd Aquarium! I linked my post on it there! - What is the worst present you’ve ever received?
I don’t think I’ve gotten a really terrible present before. I think probably just clothes when I was a child and just wanted toys but honestly looking back clothes were great! - As a kid, did a sibling ever receive a present that you wished was for you?
I do think I’ve answered a version of this question before and honestly, I don’t think so! - Share a line from your favourite Christmas song.
I couldn’t think of a line so I decided to pick my favorite verse from “12 Days of Christmas” and it’s the one with nine ladies dancing because I love to dance. - Rename a reindeer.
Probably Cupid I would rename to Astroid or something else space related so it’d match with Comet’s name. - What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
I love the general feeling of the season and getting some time off of everything to just recharge! - When do you start getting excited about Christmas?
I tend to start getting excited about Christmas right after Halloween/Day of the Dead. I don’t really care much for Thanksgiving so I tend to try to skip right over it! - Do you use advent calendars?
No, but I wish I did! I would love to get one someday. All I’ve done is a little chocolate one which wasn’t so exciting. - Recite one line from your favourite Christmas/Holiday movie.
“SANTAA!!!!!!! I know him!!!!” from Elf. - Share a funny Christmas memory.
Probably the one year we were hosting and a third of the tree lights went out! It was only a few days before the holiday I think so my sister quickly went out and found a new string of lights for the tree so we could string them quickly and fix it. Phew! - Talk us through your typical Christmas Day?
Well I’ll start with Christmas Eve, we tend to watch a ton of movies, Christmas or Harry Potter films, and then make food. I’ll probably bake something this year so I’m quite excited. Then we eat, go back to watching movies, and then stay up until midnight and open presents! In the morning we pretty much do the same thing! - Do you have any Christmas traditions?
I try to go to the Christmas market downtown in Chicago every year, I do Blogmas (which does totally count as a tradition, right?), we try to watch all the Harry Potter movies, and that’s pretty much it! - Real or fake Christmas tree?
Fake! It seems weird to me to kill a real tree just to put it in the house and decorate it. Plus I think they can dry out easily and be a fire hazard so I’m much more comfortable with a fake tree which will last years. - Pictures with Santa…yay or nay? Share a fave.
I think this is likely meant for parents? Basically no because I’m an adult and that’d be weird. I don’t have a digital photo of the ones I had as a kid so maybe I should look for one to share next year!
And that’s the Merry Christmas tag! Let me know if you do this tag so I can read your answers or answer your favorite question in the comments.
Thanks for reading!

Sleigh bells are such a festive & beautiful noise & yesss to the general feel of Christmas, it’s just so magical, isn’t it?! I’ve never done an advent calendar, not even a chocolate one, but I’d sure love to… maybe next year! I love that you go to the Chicago market every year & Blogmas is DEFINITELY a tradition. ❤ Totally agree about fake trees over real ones & please, do share a picture of you with Santa as a kiddo if you can find one!

Oooo yes! I can’t imagine Christmas without sleigh bells ringing! Haha I think you would love a chocolate advent calendar or maybe a beauty one! And omg I totally skipped the market this year. It just has been way too cold on the weekends and this weekend is supposed to be nice but I dread the last minute crowds and also my mug collection is way too out of hand already haha. I’ll miss it this year I think but maybe next! Blogmas is a tradition I do intend to keep though, it’s so fun! And haha thank you! I just feel bad saying I like fake trees more because all the real tree fans are so passionate but that’s just how I feel!

I haven’t been able to find a dairy-free chocolate advent calendar in stores but next year, I will be proactive & order one online or something. The beauty ones do look fun, too!
I’m sorry you had to skip the market this year! My heart actually broke a little because I was excited to see your blog post & new mug LOL. No worries though, maybe next year the weather won’t be so harsh!
The real tree folks really are passionate!!

Hmmmm that’s weird that you couldn’t find one! I’ll have to keep an eye out next year too then and let you know what stores if I find dairy-free so you can check ones in your area!
I know! I thought the mug was so cute too but also I really don’t use them at all so it also feels wasteful to have it and not use it. They’re cute but I have so, so many! Maybe next year as you said if the weather isn’t so bad and if the design is unique!
