Hello everyone! Today, I’m sharing my empties from this lovely, short-lived season.

Seeing as how there was already snow in Chicago last month, I’m just resigning myself that it is now… “winter”. Here’s my empties!

Beauty
As many of you know, I have been trying to use up my products for awhile so here’s what I’ve managed to use up for beauty this season.
Make Up
Although it’s not fully empty I did use up the Kat von D Lock-It Concealer. I had the shade M25 Warm. I tried to get the last remaining stuff out but it just doesn’t come out so I’m just going to throw it out. I did like it but I’m not going to repurchase, mostly for moral reasons since the founder of the brand is quite strange and does things like not vaccinate her children. Oh well!
I finished up the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Sand. I really like this product and have repurchased it already. Also, this is a great reminder to chop off the top of these tubes to get the left over product in them! Mine still had so much left when I cut the top off. However, you just have to make sure to use it quickly because it does dry out.
I finally finished the little sample of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I did really like this mascara and I would totally repurchase once I use up some other ones that I have.
I also had this sample of the Pur-lisse BB Tinted Moist Cream that I did like but it was very light coverage and had to be worked in quite a bit, so I didn’t repurchase.
The last sample is the CoverFX setting powder in translucent light. It was fine, but not my favorite, especially because it was so light.
Skin Care
I used up the Ole Henriksen Nuture Me face cream. I liked it when I first got it but over time I just didn’t really enjoy it. I did use it up so as not to waste it but it wasn’t my favorite.
While cleaning up my bathroom I found this little bottle of the Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Foam Cleanser which was already empty! I must have been keeping it for an empties but didn’t put it in the right basket so I am adding it now. I did really like the cleanser and it was really smooth and fun to use.
The next item was from one of my FabFitFun boxes, the Skin & Co Roma Blue in Capri Shower Gel. I really loved how it smelled and it felt really luxurious. I’m sad to say goodbye but I won’t repurchase because I have a few more shower items to use up still.
I used up the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water. I did really like it and I did feel that it helped clean my skin. I have a few other toners I’ve gotten in boxes but if I don’t like those then I’ll totally repurchase this one.
Last in the skin care, I used up the Sunday Riley Tidal water cream. I did like that it was so smooth and hydrating but overall I didn’t care much for the smell and didn’t seem to last as long as I would like on it’s own.
Hair Care
I used up the Nexxus Diametress Volume Shampoo and COnditioner with Green Tea Extract. I did like it a lot and it smelled really good so I might get it again later.
Misc.
I used up the Up & Up Baby Shampoo, which I use for cleaning my make up brushes. It gets the job done so I like it!
I used up the Lush Fun Aliens and Monsters for bubble baths! I really loved how bubbly they were and the smells and colors were amazing! The bubbles would fade really fast though but overall it really was fun! I miss having a Lush store around me to go to, so I might have to make an online order sometime.
The last item for this category is the Soap & Glory Shea Butter, Sugar and Peach Seed Body Polish. I don’t use exfoilators often for my body but this one was nice and the grain felt very fine so I did enjoy it. It also smelled great!
Food
Here’s the food empties that I remembered to save! It’s easier to save them when I’m at home because I tend to remember and put them in my Empties basket. When I’m at work I just thrown them into the bin and forget!
First up is the Happy Inside Cereal for Digestive Wellness in Simple Strawberry. I grabbed this out of the pantry at home because I wanted oatmeal and this was as close as I could get. It was fine I guess, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it later.
I finished up my Simple Loose Leaf Tea Company Evening Herbal Tea. I still have teas from when I got their subscription boxes, and so I’m making my way through those. This one was a little too minty for my preference but it was still really good and also had ginger and lemon.
I enjoyed the Nature Valley Crispy Creamy Wafer Bars. I had the Peanut Butter ones and I’m a big fan of PB so they were great! My mom wasn’t a fan but I don’t think she likes PB as much as I do so maybe that’s why.
I finally tried an RXBAR in Chocolate Sea Salt. I think this one was too chocolate-y for me but they were still really good and I do want to try other kinds too.
I also finished up the Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts. I don’t like how salty they were but they were still good snacks.
Lastly, are the Pastisetas. I had them in Mexico a few years back and so I get them from time to time. They’re quite pricey for a few cookies so they’re only special treats!
So that’s what I’ve used up this season! I love it when I can throw out everything in my basket and then start anew. I can’t wait to use up more products in the winter.
Thanks for reading!

Everyone has such good luck with the TF mascara, I’m sad it doesn’t work for me. 😦 The Aliens & Monsters bubbles sound so fun. I still need to try something by Lush & it may just have to be that or something similar. I LOVE PB so those Nature Valley wafers are calling my name lol. I’ve heard good things about those RXBars, too.

Awww I’m sorry the mascara doesn’t work well for you! And the bubbles were so fun from Lush! I def recommend those and a bath bomb which is fun, and if you have a smaller tub like I do ask them to cut the bath bomb in half for you so you can get two uses out of it. You can cut it yourself but it’s kind of messy when I do it and they do it so much neater! You’d probably really enjoy the Nature Valley bars so let me know if you do try them how you like them!

Oh wow, I had no idea they could cut the bath bombs for you! Thanks so much for letting me know. I would much rather have them do that for me & I’m always about getting more uses out of something. 🙂 Will def let you know if I find those Nature Valley bars to try!!

They can! I think they can for a lot of their products that are like the bars and such too, which is helpful. Since my tub is so small, it just feels like a waste using one whole bath bomb on one small bath but even if it was a bigger tub I’d still get it cut so that I could get more uses too. Although I’d also totally use a full one as a splurge from time to time if I had a big tub haha!
