My Travel Make Up and Skin Care 2019

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing my make up and skin care for my Texas trip with you.

This bag is for my Texas trip! As I type and you read, I’m in Houston right now. I have so many stories to share already so be sure to follow along during BirthMay for the trip recaps!

The look had to be pretty versatile, as I am not only going to be in Houston this week for work, but next week I’m going to be in San Antonio for fun. I wanted a nice and neutral look, but also something that would last throughout long work days and the Texas heat.

This is what I brought!

Make Up

For foundation I brought along the Bissu Foundation I brought back from my Mexico trip a few months back. I paired it with the Too Faced Hangover Primer, which goes along great with it! My concealer is the Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer which I received free from Influenster for review purposes. I did really enjoy it and it’s so long lasting so it had to come along.

I also brought the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer that I repurchased. I hadn’t used it in awhile though so I’d forgotten how good it is and how little you need! Moderation is key with this one. My mascara is Marc Jacobs and I think after this trip it needs to be thrown out because it’s been in use for awhile.

For setting my makeup I brought the trusty Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray as well as the Besame Vanilla Setting Powder. Both of these are amazing individually and together they’re unstoppable!

For lips I brought the Trestique Lipstick/Lip Balm in Florence Fig which is amazing and I love that it has both. I also brought the Lorac Alter Ego Lipstick in CEO because it’s so long lasting as well. I would say it lasts longer than the Trestique but it is drier.

Skin Care

First, I decided to bring these Olay Daily Clean Water Activated Cleansing Cloths. That’s a long way of saying they’re face wipes that are actually dry and the cleanser is activated with water. They’re amazing to travel with. I was trying to stay away from face wipes to cut down on waste but made an exception to make travel a little easier. Not a great excuse, but I’ll go back to using a regular cleanser as soon as I’m hope and have used up the wipes.

I also brought the Coola White Tea Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 50. I really love this moisturizer and the SPF is an amazing addition to it, so I brought it with!

For an exfoliator I brought the Korres Pomegranate Resurfacing Mask. I really love how great this mask is and I wanted to make sure I had something good for my trip.

For a night moisturizer I brought this sample of the Sunday Riley Tidal Cream. It’s so hydrating and with all that plane air, it’s so necessary!

Lastly is more of a body item, my Gucci Bloom Rollerball Fragrance! I wanted something I loved with me so I’m glad I brought it with me. The scent is just so totally me!

So that’s my travel make up and skin care for this Texas trip! Is there one beauty item you absolutely can’t travel without? I think that setting spray is mine!

  1. I usually don’t wear any makeup when I travel so I won’t have to bring anything. đŸ˜‚ Moisturizer & lip balm are probably my musts though!

So jealous you got to try that Marc Jacobs concealer from Influenster!!

    • Omg honestly that’s probably the best. Also, hmmm I should go make up free more often. Almost no one at work wears it anyway hahahaha.

Omg if you ever get the chance to try the concealer you totally should!

      • I love makeup to play with but putting it on for going out is too much of a hassle lol! I do hope I get a chance to try that concealer someday. It’s so fancy! ♡
