Hi everyone! Welcome back to Blogmas with a post on my winter skin care! I’m also revealing the 13th item in our advent calendar!

I do have combination skin and this time of year my skin feels so much more oily because the dryness in the air causes it to overcompensate. It’s real fun… In order to try to combat that I do use more hydrating items to try to even everything out.

For a cleanser I use the Drunk Elephant Beste Jelly Cleanser. I really love how this cleanser feels and it smells great!
I also use the Garnier Micellar Water with a cotton round. I do really like it but I also feel bad using it because then the cotton round goes in the trash so it seems wasteful.
For a nighttime moisturizer I use the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream which is rich and feels great! I don’t care for the scent though.
For hands and general lotion I use the Ahava Deadsea Water Mineral Hand Cream. I do really love this cream and the scent is amazing. I don’t use lotion often but when I do I reach for this one.
If I need an exfoliator for my face I use the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel which is an exfoliator. I love everything about it! It smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling so smooth. For my lips I use the Sephora Honey Lip Scrub. The only downside to it is the exfoliation isn’t really uniform throughout the product, but otherwise works well.
If I need a mask I alternate between a few so I didn’t add anything for it here but I do use mostly sheet masks.
For a daytime moisturizer I use the Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Day Cream. It smells great and leaves my skin feeling ready for the day!
Last, I do still use my Zoya Ayla Rose Quartz Face Roller. I’m still not convinced it’s doing much but it’s fun so there’s that.
Advent Calendar Item #13
The 13th item of the Blogmas Advent Calendar is…

An eye mask with a cooling insert! I got one a few months ago and love it so I ordered another for travel/backup. I really love that it has a cooling gel inside too as you can put it in the fridge or it naturally stays cool and it’s so relaxing. I do think it helps to fall asleep faster and to stay asleep longer so I would love to include on in the calendar.
So that’s my winter skin care! Let me know what you use! Do we have any of the same items in our routines?
Thanks for reading!
