Hi everyone! Today, let’s grab a cup of coffee and chat, shall we? 

This is also day 2 of Blogmas so at the end you’ll get your next advent calendar item at the end of this post. 

I am having my usual Chai Tea Latte and I’m starting to really think I should branch out. But then again it’s so good that two of my good friends also get it all the time now and blame me for it. I’m totally okay with that haha!

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that ever since buying my new PlayStation 4 I’ve been so negligent on everything else. I am really enjoying having the time to play on my new system and I’m really glad I got it, although I need to get better at balancing things like reading and writing blog posts with it! I got the new Spiderman game with my system and then bought Until Dawn for it which I’ve wanted to play for ages! I think the next game I want is What Remains of Edith Finch. My sister joked that I should start streaming onto Twitch which made me laugh! But also, should I? Hmmmmmm. 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m so glad I have all my Christmas shopping done early! I got a few presents for my mom, dad, and sister and I’m so happy with what I picked out for them. I haven’t wrapped the gifts in case I chose to add more to them but I doubt I will as I have a few items for them each already. Update: spoke too soon since I wrote this a few days early. Gotta find a gift for one of my besties since we decided kinda last minute to exchange gifts! 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I told myself I wouldn’t get myself any presents but I ended up with the PS4, new sunglasses, a new sweater, a few things from FabFitFun, and a new MK handbag. Whoops! I promise, I’m done now!!! 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that since I stopped doing my “One Second a Day” app videos I haven’t uploaded to YouTube for awhile. I’m thinking of potentially doing some vlogs but I’m worried because I’d have to record them on my phone probably. I might try it though and if it’s not so bad I will edit and upload the videos I make. If it sucks though I might have to ask for camera suggestions for vlogging. Is that something you’d be interested in? 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m pretty sure I have a muscle knot in my lower right back area. I was going to try to make an appointment for a massage but should I go to a chiropractor instead in case it’s something else? Or a regular doctor? Bet you didn’t think you were going to be asked for medical advice by agreeing to have coffee with me! Anyway, I’ve been self-massaging the area and I think it’s getting better. I’m pretty sure it’s because I sit cross legged at my desk at home and work, and that’s what’s messing with my back. 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I don’t have any cavities! I went to the dentist recently (I go every six months like you’re supposed to do) and it went swimmingly. Well, my hygienist recommended I floss which I have done maybe five times since going so I have to continue to work on that. But otherwise I’m doing great! I don’t want to get any more cavities since I had two (but that was after not going to the dentist at all for over 10 years, so don’t follow my lead on that). 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that ever since putting up my tree I am much more in the holiday spirit! I am writing this post early (as I tend to do) so I’ve probably filled the area around me with even more Christmas but as of right now I have not only one tree up but also switched to my “winter/holiday” bag (I have a handbag problem) which is my rose gold MK handbag. I took down my fall decor and put up my Christmas decor for my bedroom/home office. I also want to put up the mini tree upstairs, but I got tired after one tree so now that I’m rested up I might do that. 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’ve had a few coworkers lately try to get relationship advice from me which just goes to show how awesome my advice must be! Haha I keep reminding them that I’ve never been in a relationship though so that I’m maybe not the best person to ask for advice, but they don’t listen to that part which completely baffles me. I mean, I do give very logical advice so maybe that’s why they like talking to me about it? I’m confused but it’s fun so I’m not going to stop them. 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’ve pretty much given up on the class I was having issues with before. I think I’ll save most of the story for a separate post once the semester is over because I don’t quite remember where I left off here on the blog but basically the professor just doesn’t care and I am trying hard not to focus on the negative. I mean, on class the night of November 15th he told us he would email us an assignment due November 29th (no class on the 22nd due to Thanksgiving). I’m writing this on the 26th and haven’t seen a single email from him regarding the class or any homework so… Yeah… I’m just so disappointed now as I really had been hoping to learn a ton from this class and I just haven’t since this new professor came in. As for Leadership, I did get my grade and while it’s not bad it’s not what I wanted. I was really hopeful I’d get an A but considering I didn’t speak the entire weekend of class when I was sick I’m sure my “participation” brought it down. So, overall I’m not surprised, but very disappointed. This semester is just not going the way I planned is it! Focusing on the positive, I think next semester will be good. But more on that in next month’s MBA update post! 

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m super excited for Blogmas! Also, I’d ask you what you’d want to see in my Blogmas posts. I’ve pretty much decided each day’s post but there’s room for moving stuff around!

Advent Calendar Item #2

For day 2 of Blogmas your advent calendar item is…

A candle! I love candles so I would absolutely love to include one in your calendar. This one is Black Orchid and Amber which I know is a bit of a niche sort of scent, so I’d probably select something more universally liked or something holiday scented but I thought this one was so cute so I wanted to use this one to represent. I hope you like it!
