My September Favorites

Hi everyone! I’m back with my favorites this month! I don’t have that many new favorites as I have been mostly sticking to the same items but I do have a few so lets get to it!

Also, this is besides the items in my fall makeup and skin care post as I just recently featured them!

I’m not sure if I’ve included any of these recently in a favorites post. I don’t quite recall! I think it’s at least half items and half items you’ve seen before from me so it seems like a good blend I think!

Beauty

First up is the Kat Von D Lock It Setting Powder. I bought this for travel I believe with the concealer and just now got around to actually trying it. I love it a lot! I do wish it was easier to get the powder out neatly but there’s nothing you can do there! Otherwise I love this powder and it really sets everything down and makes my makeup look amazing.

A tried and true item is the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. I keep thinking this will run out soon but it’s still going strong. I was very ill over one weekend (of course it had to be a weekend when I had class) so I put a bit of this on to look slightly more alive. It’s a miracle product for sure.

The concealer I used while I was ill too is the Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Concealer. I love how easy it is to use and build, and how well it covers up blemishes. I don’t think I’ve had this one in a favorites in awhile!

And the last beauty product is the Laura Mercier Lipstick in Spiced Rose. I love how beautiful this looks. It’s a sort of a very soft pink, leaning more towards a nude shade. I really do enjoy this one! It’s very creamy so I have to reapply a ton and normally forget but I’m fine with that haha!

Style

I have two items for style. First is the Vince Camuto Luck Tote which I got in a previous FabFitFun box! It turned out to be the perfect school bag. I was worried that my laptop with it would be too heavy and although it gets a bit bulky with the charger and all it holds up amazingly well. I’m so impressed with this bag and I really enjoy using it as it’s so cute!

Next is the Minor History Post Script Wallet, which was also in a previous FabFitFun box! It’s a perfect small wallet and everyone always loves it! I would say it’s quite delicate which isn’t my favorite as the hole that closes the wallet is starting to look worn and fray but overall it’s good. You can really only fit maybe 5 cards in it at a time before it starts to become difficult to close but that should be enough I think!

Electronics

And lastly is the pair of Cylo Cobra Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. I actually ended up using the white pair from my FabFitFun box instead of the black, which I’m saving for later. My only issue with Bluetooth earbuds is that they normally beep or speak in a volume a few notches higher than what I am listening to using them and it doesn’t pause what I’m listening to for the alert so it normally 1) terrifies me because I’m not expecting it and/or 2) I miss the middle of a sentence and have to go back to rewatch. It’s annoying but the freedom of bluetooth is also totally worth it!

So those are my favorites! It’s quite short today but I figured since you got a really long post earlier that kind of makes up for it? Anyway, let me know what your favorite items have been. I’d love to know!

Thanks for reading!

    • Hahahaha! It’s super weird for sure! It is a set distance but if they get too far away it cuts off. The device keeps going, it doesn’t pause, but it doesn’t play out loud and you hear it again when you get close again. Although you should share the weird rap with the world!!!!

  1. Cute bag! I keep wondering about that tinted moisturizer but tend to skip on it, I’ll have to add it to my list to check out. I love those products that you can just chuck on when you aren’t feeling great or in the mood to get gussied up. Great picks!!

    • Both are great brands, I want to try more from Kat Von D as I’ve really only tried the setting powder and the concealer but it seems amazing. I haven’t found a Laura Mercier product I don’t like yet so they’re one of my faves!

And thank you! Small wallets are just so useful!!!
