My Fall Makeup and Skin Care Routine!

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to share my fall everyday makeup and skin care routine with you! I’m trying to change up the products I use every so often and these are the ones that I’ve been using everyday. I know it’s a little early but it’s really feeling like fall here so I’m taking the leap. I’m so excited to continue to use them now that we’re heading into fall!

For foundation I’ve been using the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in 108 Caramel Beige. This product was put away as it was too dark for me for quite awhile but I’ve tanned a bit over the summer and now it fits perfectly! I’ve also gone back to the Maybelline FitMe Concealer in 25 Medium.

For primer I think I mentioned this in my recent favorites, it’s the NYX First Base Primer Spray. I really like the spray itself as it goes on so evenly. It dries fairly quickly too so it’s great in the morning. For powder I’m almost done with the Honest Beauty Invisible Blurring Powder. I really like the product and I’m sad it’s almost done but I think it’ll still last a bit as a little goes a long way.

For brows is my long time favorite, Benefit Goof Proof Pencil in 6. It’s perfectly dark and the spoolie at the end is great to rush out my brows. My lip balm is one that I heard of through YouTube, Lypsyl Intense Protection. My lips tend to dry out as it gets colder so I have to make sure to keep it on hand. And for color on my lips I use many different products but I’ve been reaching the most for the Nars Satin Lip Pencil. I can’t find the shade name anywhere on this one but I think it’s from the Sephora beauty birthday gift.

And for mascara I’m using the NYX Worth the Hype Mascara. I’ve talked about this mascara so much and I really do like it. I think I’ll have to throw it out soon as it’s been awhile and I think you’re supposed to replace them after three months or so, which sucks because it’s still going strong!

Skin Care

I use a few products right now for my face. While I’d like to say I use my Foreo fofo all the time with my Drunk Elephant Beste Jelly Cleanser every night I think I only use them sparingly. The main reason is that the Foreo is kind of annoying to try to figure out. It doesn’t connect easily to my phone through bluetooth, it takes quite some time and even then it went through an app update and it isn’t clear when it’s connected or if it’s just doing it’s thing on it’s own. Otherwise it’s the cleanser on it’s own.

For some particularly busy nights though, I use the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. I follow that up with the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water. They’re not super effective though so it’s not my favorite thing to use. I feel that I use multiple towelettes and cotton rounds of the cleansing water that it’s not worth it usually so I’m trying to get away from these products.

About once a week I try to use an exfoliator and lately I’m using the Korres Pomegranate Resurfacing Mask. It’s very good, and so I can’t use it often or scrub too hard otherwise it irritates my skin but sporadically it’s amazing.

For my day moisturizer I use the Coola Sport SPF 50 White Tea Moisturizer. I do like this moisturizer a ton, it is so lightweight and it doesn’t smell of sunscreen so that’s really nice. I also like that it’s very long lasting and so easy to take around with me!

For nighttime I use the Dr. Brandt Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask. I really like how refreshing it feels and how quickly it absorbs. With this mask I follow up with the Zoya Ayla Rose Quartz Face Roller. I know a lot of people were interested in this when I got it so here’s what I think of it so far! So I don’t really think it’s doing much of anything. I have concentrated using it where I’m starting to get “frown lines” as I frown so much but even though I think that it looks better after using it, the results aren’t long lasting. If anything though, it does help remind me not to frown so much so maybe that’s a surprising outcome. I’ll keep using it a bit longer before I decide if it’s worth it or not.

Hair & Body

For hair I use the Hask Manoi Coconut Dry Shampoo right now. I don’t use this every day, just occasionally! For every day I use the Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer which makes my hair much more manageable, wavy, and I’m pretty sure it dries faster than normal!

For perfume I’m using this travel version of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. I used to wear this all the time and now that I have this little spray I’m revisiting the scent. My mom always compliments me on it so I guess she likes it too!

For body lotion I’m using the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream which I can’t say without laughing. I like it so far but I don’t use lotion often enough as I nearly always forget. Another infrequent item is the Soap & Glory Flake Away Shea Butter, Sugar, and Peach Seed Body Polish which is a really long way of saying it’s a body exfoliator. This one I love and the scent is amazing. But I also try not to use it too often so I won’t irritate my poor sensitive skin.

And that’s my fall beauty and skin care routine so far! It occurred to me as I wrote this how many products are nearing their end so maybe I’ll have to do a new beauty routine soon.

Let me know what you have been using lately! Do we have any of the same products in our routines?

Thanks for reading!
