Hi everyone! Today’s post will be all about my May favorites! As usual, I don’t have that much new stuff to talk about and some of it may be repeats as I’m usually sticking to my favorites longer right now. But some of these are new so let’s get to it!

First up, is #BirthMay! I’ve been blogging every day because it’s my birthday month. I did the same thing last year and I think I received slightly better feed back last year and I know why. I definitively had to force myself to make it through the month of blogging because of course finals had to fall in my birth month. But hey, I did say from the beginning school would come first and I did get A’s so I’m okay with that. No idea how I’ll survive Blogmas in December though…

Starting from the left of the items in the picture, I have the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish in 291 Ginger Zinger. I used this on my toes the other day and loved the color! It’s such a nice subtle pink and dries so nicely and quickly!

Next is the AHAVA Deadsea Water Mineral Hand Cream. I got this in a past FabFitFun box and absolutely love it. (Speaking of my Summer box arrived yesterday! I can’t wait to do a post on it!) My shoes have rubbed the top part of my foot funny and now it’s so itchy. All my other lotions have done absolutely nothing to help and this is the only one so far that provides some relief!

I also have gotten back to using the Eucerin Daily Protection Face lotion with SPF 30. I try to use sunscreen year round but more so in the summer as that’s when I’m outside a lot more. It is meant for sensitive skin as well, which is great because I feel like most would be too strong for my face.

I’ve absolutely been loving the NYX Worth the Hype Mascara that I received from my Chic VoxBox. I did get the box from Influenster free so I could review the products but I really did enjoy the mascara.

Next is a Jabibe lipgloss I got in Mexico awhile ago. The color is called light brown but I would say it’s more like a pink-brown. I was watching a few vlogs on YouTube of sisters that I recently found and they were wearing neutral colored lipgloss that was very matte and so I had the urge to put one on myself. I love it!

And the last item pictured (don’t worry, there’s still a few more) is the Korres Pomegranate Resurfacing Mask which also came from the Chic VoxBox. I love how fine the exfoliating beads in it are as most of the time they feel much too large. I don’t use it that often though as my skin doesn’t like exfoliating that often but it’s great overall!

The next item I don’t have a photo of but I have loved the new Strawberry Green Tea from Starbucks. The employees will ask you if you want it sweetened or unsweetened but I prefer the in-between option, lightly sweetened! I really like it as it’s perfectly in the middle and super refreshing!

And lastly is my joint birthday cake! My dad got a cake for myself and my sister for our birthdays as well as my mom for mother’s day. As you can see, the decorators were in a rush as they just did initials and didn’t add the “y” in “birthday” but ah well. I’d really wanted a cake and it happened! I also wanted balloons but those did not materialize. I’ll take what I can get!
