Hi everyone! Who’s excited to look through my trash??? But like in a good way? I’m back with product empties that I’ve accumulated since the last time, about 5 months. Clearly, I don’t go through products that fast.
And I almost forgot! #BirthMay is my daily blog posts for the month of May, which is my birth month! I hope you’re enjoying it as much as I am!
So let’s get started!
First item I have is the Garnier Clean Soothing Makeup Removing Cleansing Towelettes. I got these from my mom after I ran out of my usual ones and they were pretty good. I wouldn’t call them a favorite though and I would repurchase over my usual Neutrogena ones.
I’ve also used up the Up & Up Cotton Rounds. I have this one of the “basic” rounds which was a three pack. I use these with micellar water everyday so I go through them quickly. I’m nearly out of the pack I purchased after this one so I need to buy these again.
Speaking of, I used up the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water as well. It actually takes awhile to use up because it’s so large and I don’t use that much of it at a time. I did already repurchase this.
Next is the Dove Dry Spray Invisible. I absolutely love this antiperspirant and I have repurchased already as it came in one of my subscription boxes (a Target Beauty Box).
I also used up four Diamond Wipes Cleaning & Makeup Remover Towelettes which I got at my hotel in Houston. They were among the items put out in the bathroom so I used them and even saved the packaging to show off in this post. I’m so dedicated LOL.
I also used up a sample of the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish with crushed macadamia and rice milk. I could have sworn I used up two of these samples so I’m guessing I threw out the other one or still have it and am just imagining it? Either way, I did like this product as it smelled great and felt amazing. I won’t repurchase though since I have other exfoilators right now.
The first sheet mask I used up for this post is the Pretty Animalz by LookBeauty Tiger moisturizing sheet mask. I got this in one of my Target Beauty Boxes and thought it was fun but I’m actually not a huge fan of sheet masks as I feel the product just stays on the sheet usually. I am not repurchasing this one.
I also used another sheet mask, the Purlisse Green Tea + Ginger Rejuvenating Sheet Mask, which I believe I got from a coworker. I did enjoy this one more than I usually enjoy sheet masks but I also wouldn’t purchase this myself. I also find that I can’t use masks often because I use glasses and it’s hard to just sit there without being able to see. By the time I have washed my face and want to use one I’ve generally taken off my contacts so you see all the first world problems I have with these.
I used up the Dr. Brandt Wrinkle Smoothing Cream Needles No More sample I received in my Dr. Brandt VoxBox from Influenster a while ago. I didn’t really see much long-term improvement but I’m guessing because I didn’t use it frequently and it was such a small sample. I think I did see small improvements right after using it but it could just be my mind playing a trick on me too. I won’t purchase just because I’m not sure if it actually works or not! I also used up the accompanying Needles No More 3-D Volumizing Mask which I did like but also didn’t notice enough change to want to purchase.
From the same VoxBox I used up the Dr. Brandt Power Dose C. I didn’t really like this product as I felt it was too much fuss. It was like a two step product where you had to mix the cream with the oil and it was too many steps haha. I also didn’t really feel like it did that much and so I won’t purchase. I also used up a few samples of the Pores No More Luminizer Primer from the same box and I wasn’t too impressed so I won’t purchase.
I used up a sample of The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser which was nice but a little too slippery for my liking. I won’t repurchase as it didn’t really impress me that much and the closest store closed by me.
This next one I didn’t actually finish it but it’s the Tom’s Original Care Deodorant. I liked it at first but about halfway through the tube it just sort of stopped working for me so I will not be repurchasing. I did like that it was natural but unfortunately I just don’t do well with those.
This one isn’t fully finished either but the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer was one of my favorites for awhile. Unfortunately I found others I liked more and by the time I remembered I had this one it had gone bad. I didn’t have that much left but it does make me sad since it’s one of the pricier items I had.
Another sample I used was the CoverFX Mattifying Primer with Anit-Acne Treatment. I did like the primer but I’m not sure if I noticed any anti-acne things. I don’t think I would repurchase as I like other primers more but I might consider a travel size down the road.
I used up a sample of the Crest 3D White Whitening Anticavity Toothpaste. This has become my favorite toothpaste and it’s now the only one I use!
One sample I didn’t fully finish is the GlamGlow YouthMud. I used it once last year, liked it, and then forgot I had it. When I found it and decided to try to use it up it actually hurt and I had to wash it off almost immediately! I don’t know if that’s because it may have gone bad or because my skin may have been more sensitive but I won’t be trying it again!
I use up a lot of samples, because the next one is the Honest Beauty Younger Face Deep Hydration Cream. I really enjoyed this product and I was sad when I used it up. It is a very rich formula. I have so many hydrating products that I’m waiting to try (also samples) so I likely won’t purchase this anytime soon.
The last full sized item (more samples to come) is the Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo. I love this shampoo because it’s the only one that lets me have hair that isn’t super oily after 12 hours. With this one I can get just about 22 hours (yup, I’m that precise). I’ve already repurchased!
Okay just a few more! I absolutely loved the Sunday Riley C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum. I was so sad when I used it up!
I did use up a perfume sample, one of my favorites! The Chloe Eau de Parfum. I used to have a rollerball of this fragrance but then it seemed to go bad (rollerballs don’t seem to last very long) so I had to get rid of it. I was sad to use this one up!
And lastly is the Farmacy Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer which I loved! I had wanted to purchase this during the Sephora VIB sale but I completely forgot as I was in Houston. Maybe I’ll remember at the end of the year!
And those are all my empties! Let me know what you’ve used up lately. I want to know!
Thanks for reading!
