My Josie Maran 500 Point Sephora Perk!

Hi everyone! Today I thought I’d share my Josie Maran 500 Point Sephora Perk! So I rarely ever get the perks at Sephora despite having quite a bit of points (I’m a point hoarder) but this one looked really cool.

Plus my mom loves this brand and I have yet to try anything from it so I wanted to try it. That’s normally when I get these perks actually. When it’s a brand I’ve really wanted to try (like the GlamGlow kits I tried and reviewed two of them SuperMud and YouthMud). Or when my mom likes the brand and I give it to her (I got a Benefit one for her once).

Also sorry for the lack of Tag Me Tuesday yesterday! Monday night I had some last minute changes to my homework to do and then yesterday I had to go to school. I don’t have homework due next week so I think that I should be good to write one next week.

So there are four items in this perk, and there’s apparently an order to use these products in and somehow I got them in order from left to right. That was completely on accident.

So step 1 is the Whipped Mud Mask in sweet citrus. The mask is meant to “purify and refine” according to the back of the box. It says it has Argan Oil and Moroccan clay as well as saying it’s good for all skin types.

Step 2 is the Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter. I don’t know how I feel about putting something that’s named “butter” on my face but I’ll try it. This step is the “hydrate and firm” stage and this product is also good for all skin types.

The 3rd step is the “nourish and seal” step with the 100% Pure Argan Oil. This is a product that my mom absolutely loves so I mostly got this entire kit so I could try this. It says it’s good for dry, sensitive, and normal skin. My skin is combination and slightly sensitive but lately it’s been responding really well to intensely hydrating products meant for dry skin so I don’t mind trying it.

And lastly is the “soften and color” step 4. This is the Argan Lip Sting Plumping Butter in Embrace It Honey. I don’t like the idea of trying a plumping lip item since I’ve seen plenty of reviews about plumping lip products that say it hurts and stuff. I think I might try it since I already have it but no promises I’ll like it!

I also wanted to add that the brand as a whole does state it’s organic argan oil, synthetic fragrance free, paraben free, cruelty free, and gluten free. I do know I need to get better about checking the products I buy as I only noticed this while writing this. But it’s good to know that this one is a brand that promotes all these great options!

So let me know if you have tried Josie Maran items. I’d love to know!

Thanks for reading!
