Tag Me Tuesday – Awesome Blogger Award #3!

Hi everyone! Tag Me Tuesday is making a guest appearance this month with the Awesome Blogger Award! I decided this week I’d do a tag instead of a Monday post as I’m really busy with school. I have mentioned this in a few posts but I’m taking a j-term class which is a class squeezed into one month: January. So I’m in class all day Saturday and Sunday, which is normally when I write posts. I have days off during the week but those are devoted to homework.

I won’t say tags are easier necessarily, but they give great prompts! So I do have to thank the awesome Hunida who tagged me. She is always so supportive and lovely and I’m so flattered that she thought of me for this award!

And I get to give a shoutout to another awesome blogger, Maggie! Maggie created this award and here’s a bit about it:

This is an award for the absolutely wonderful writers all across the blogging world. They have beautiful blogs, are kind and lovely, and always find a way to add happiness and laughter to the lives of their readers. That is what truly defines an awesome blogger.

Rules

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Tag it under #awesomebloggeraward in the Reader
  • Answer the questions your nominator gave you
  • Nominate at least 5 awesome bloggers
  • Give your nominees 10 new questions to answer
  • Let your nominees know that they’ve been nominated

Hunida’s Questions:

  1. At what percentage is it time to charge your phone?
Pretty much at 80%…. I have an iPhone 6 which is about two years old now and the battery is terrible! Remember that “Apple purposefully messes with your batter” scandal a bit ago? Yeah I totally called that. I’m looking to get a Google Pixel 2 this month once I have a moment to order it. Goodbye and good riddance to the iPhone!
  2. If you could travel anywhere but, it has to be outside of the USA, where would you choose to go?
Mexico. In fact, I may be planning a short trip there real soon! More on that once I actually get myself a plane ticket 🙂
  3. What animal would you choose to keep as a pet? (It would love you and be house-trained.)
I’m guessing this is supposed to be a non-typical pet question. Because a typical choice for me would be a dog. I would want either an Alaskan Malamute or a Pomeranian. But I had a dream the other night that I had a black cat named Molly. A non-typical pet would be a leopard though. Leopards were my favorite as a child and I loved them before they were the “hot” print.
  4. If you were on death row, what would your last meal be? (They let you choose whatever you want.)
Hmmmmm, I’ve never thought of this! I’d want a chai tea latte from Starbucks, tamales, pepperoni and jalapeno and black olive pizza, and churros. Oh and ice cream. And organic gummy bears. I eat like a child.
  5. What would your dream kitchen look like?
Oh so I have a very vivid image in my head for my entire house but especially the kitchen. So if you’ve seen the show Madam Secretary the kitchen starts where that area is in their house. Like there’s a short walkway from the front door and then you see it! But it doesn’t look like that. It has a grey theme and the island is kind of slanted. There’s also chairs on the higher portion so you can sit there and lots of cabinet space behind the island with all the appliances. Oh and there’s no dishwasher because I don’t use those so I replaced it with a wine fridge.
  6. What was your favorite meal as a child? Has it changed now that you’re an adult?
Apparently I didn’t really eat as a child? I just wasn’t interested I guess. Now I eat a ton and love spicy food, which I didn’t before!
  7. What is your favorite/most used phone app?
    Instagram and WordPress for sure.
  8. Are you a multi-tasker?
I like to think so although that’s not really a thing.
  9. Do you need noise to fall asleep to or complete silence? If you need noise, what kind?
Both to a certain extent. Usually I sleep in complete silence at home but I can sleep anywhere. I’m great at sleeping on planes for example. Noise (as long as it’s not a crazy annoying sound, is fine. Oh but when I can’t sleep because my brain won’t stop I put on something on youtube. Usually ASMR or rain or fireplace sounds.
  10. If you could choose; how would you choose to die?
Probably something exciting. For example I went to see The Phantom of the Opera in 2016 and kept joking that it wouldn’t be the worst thing to be killed by a falling chandelier.

  1. Yay! Thanks for making a response post and adding in such kind words in about me. 🙂 💖
Lol “before they were the ‘hot’ print” 😂 I’ve never seen Madam Secretary but I have to now so I can imagine what your dream kitchen would look like!
I love spicy food so much! I can’t believe you didn’t like to eat as a child?!
And oh my gosh, dying by a falling chandelier would be so tragic lol.
And of course, I don’t mind if you pass on my questions. 😀
