Hi everyone! Would you believe I was selected for the Elvive by L’Oréal Paris VoxBox? I have been! This is the second VoxBox I’ve received from Influenster and I’m so excited to try out this product!

I do hope you liked the video! I know I hadn’t done a video in ages so I thought that would be a good idea to try and get back into it. Clearly, I need better lighting and my hair kinda looked like a mess in that video too. Ah well, I hope you do like it despite that!

So like I was saying in the video, it’s an overall good product but it just didn’t interest me too much in the end for me to consider repurchasing once I run out. It does smooth out my hair but my hair tangles sooooo easily that it didn’t matter much after a few hours. It really helps me brush out my hair though, which is great because I hate pulling on it so much but that’s the only way I can get the brush through. I ended up needing more product than the recommended 2 drops, which isn’t a big deal but I think it shows how much my hair just doesn’t want to cooperate. The smell isn’t my favorite but it only smells for a little bit after application and doesn’t linger. I’ve only used it on my ends and it’s absorbed very well, and doesn’t make the hair look greasy at all.

I think it does a great job of smoothing the hair, which it does promise to do, but it just doesn’t last long enough for me because my hair is so inclined to tangle like crazy. At the end of the day, I also don’t often use products in my hair either so that also affects my decision.

You can kind of see in the photos above. The right top picture is without the oil and just looks bushy and frizzy and quite messy. The left is much, much smoother and I didn’t even use that much product in it.
