My Lively December!

Hi everyone! It’s been quite the month in terms of hobbies and pastimes for me. After class ended for the semester I was looking forward to doing so many fun things and that’s exactly what I’m doing!

So without further ado, here’s what I’ve been up to this month!

Running

I went running twice this month! I haven’t been running too much because of school and this week it’ll be too cold to go. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted!

Anyway, there isn’t much to say about this one. It was cold and my lungs hurt so it’s not my favorite thing to do but in case of zombie apocalypse, I have to pretend I’m prepared.

Netflix

I got to watch so many shows! I’ve been watching Liv & Maddie which is meant for kids but it’s fun. I’ve also watched most of Stranger Things as my dad and sister loved it so they put it on over Christmas. We are about halfway through season two now I think.

Blogging

I completed all of Blogmas! For a full list of my posts, you can visit my Merry Christmas post!

Musicals

This month I saw Wicked! This was one of two uncials I saw this month and I absolutely loved it.

I also saw Newsies! This musical was so fun and I enjoyed watching the dancing as it was so beautiful.

School

I finished the semester with A’s! I was so happy and I am so relieved to have my first semester down. I have quite a bit to go before I graduate but I’m looking at the bright side here.

Work – My Dad’s Landscaping Business

It’s too cold and the contract for the year is over so we didn’t do any actual landscaping but that doesn’t mean the work stops! I entered our expenses up until December for the company so my dad could get everything to the accountant. I had to use my dad’s laptop so I ended up with my iPad, my own laptop hooked up with a spare screen, and his laptop. I found it so funny to see so many devices that I took a photo with my phone. Fun times!

I also multi-tasked as I watched Hannah Hart moderate a panel for the new Last of Us sequel. I watched more than I did because multi-tasking isn’t actually a thing. Unless I’m at a job interview then you better believe I’m the world’s  best multi-tasker on the face of the planet.

Gaming

I finally got to play some video games! Well one. I played a few hours of Far Cry 3 over the past weekend which was nice. I took over a few outposts and towers as well as hunted a bit to upgrade my gear. Honestly in shooting games I’m only good at sniping. If it’s closer combat I suck. But it’s fun and I had a good time. I do hope to play a bit more before break ends but we shall see! I still have at least 500 videos on my  YouTube watch later list.

Movies

This month I watched a few! Over Christmas we watched Beauty and the Beast, Moana, and Meet the Robinsons. I also watched Coco with my family at the theatre today and I plan to post a review on it soon. It’s been quite the Disney month!

  2. I love in December when I am on break, I do not need to study. I love watching Christmas movies, listening to Christmas music and celebrating the holiday. It is always nice to be back with family, but always look forward to going back to college to see my friends

  3. congrats on completing blogmas that’s such a big job but you did great! and also i’m glad you got to play a bit of far cry 3 such a great game!!

    • Hahaha Netflix is amazing. Although they keep removing good stuff too lately. I never watched Boy Meets World so I haven’t watched Girl Meets World. I don’t know if you need to watch them in order to get it but since it’s like a continuation (I think) I haven’t watched any of it.

        I can’t believe you’ve never watched Boy Meets World!!! I think it would be hard to love Girl Meets World since you haven’t seen the original series but you’d still be able to get it!

      • Yes!!! I went to watch Rent and a few other things that I know I added to my list and they were gone! When I searched they weren’t on there either. Or I’ll read the articles that outline everything coming and going and it’s so disappointing every time. 😦 I may give it a try sometime. I’m trying to make my way through Stranger Things right now!
