Hi everyone! My Sephora Play Box seems to have arrived much earlier than last month! Or am I just imagining things? Either way, my box is here and I’m prepared to share it with you! I will also be sharing my Sephora VIB Haul this week so be on the look out for that post! I’m just waiting for my order to arrive!

If you don’t know, Sephora Play is a subscription box that you pay $10 a month for to get samples of some amazing high end brands. With each box you get 5-6 samples, a little bag, and a card that is redeemable in store for 50 VIB points with any purchase.

So without further ado, here’s what I got in my box!

First up, is my Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara. I love getting mascara samples as I love trying new ones. I have loved the products I’ve tried from Marc Jacobs so I’m excited to try it out.

I’ve never been a huge fan of this next brand but I’ll give it a shot. I got a sample of Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask. The products I have tried from Philosophy have never impressed me although I know a lot of people have liked them. I will still try it but I’m not expecting much.

Next is the Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo. My hair absolutely hates dry shampoo so I doubt that I’ll get good results, if I try it at all. Any time I try dry shampoo it makes my hair look super gross and oily, which is exactly what I’m trying to avoid!

I love lipsticks so I’m so happy that there was one included in this box! I got the Sephora Collection Rouge Cream Lipstick in The Red. Red lipsticks are among my favorites so I can’t wait to try it.

The fifth product is the Farmacy Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer. I’m actually about to try it right at this moment since it sounds so cute! I have to admit, I’m nervous to try it as I’ve been having issues when I try to use moisturizer. My breakouts are dramatically worse for some reason when I try to use moisturizer. I will continue to try new products periodically but so far, nothing has worked.

And last but not least, the bonus product this month is a fragrance sample! I received a sample of Burberry My Burberry Blush which has notes of Pomegranate and Lemon for top notes, middle notes of geranium, crisp apple, and rose petal, and base notes of jasmine and wisteria. Per usual I’ve sprayed it on already and I love it! It smells like a beautiful garden on a fresh spring morning. Burberry is a brand that I love but never really spend money on so I’m going to adore this little sample for sure!

As for the bag, I’m not sure how I feel about it actually! It seems so boring and plain but I love the “me o’clock” theme because that’s basically my life motto. I love spending time and money on me! Ah well, I never use these bags anyway although they are cute.
