My Fall Fashion!

Hi everyone! I’m sooooo excited for fall and to show you what I’m looking forward to wearing in the fall. I love anything not summer. Well that’s kind of a lie. I love each season a lot because I’m just so loving I guess. But I love all other seasons just a tad bit more than summer. It’s just too hot and I can’t figure out how to dress for it properly.

Fall is amazing though. I mean, PSLs. I almost got one yesterday. I was telling Erin about it. Our conversation went a little like this.

Me: I almost got a PSL today but…

Erin: You didn’t want to be basic?

She gets me.

Oh some updates. Apple issue is mostly resolved. Just waiting on the replacement phone to come in. I’ve pretty much gotten over bumble. Turns out I’m a tad too shy for it. Also I just can’t with the whole dating thing I think. I just view it as a waste of time! Oh I asked my friend John about those photos guys put up. Remember, I was wondering why all guys had the same 3 types of photos. Our conversation went a bit like this.

Me: I need to ask you something. It’s not important but I need to know.

John: Well you paused your podcast so it sounds important.

Me: *not so brief explanation that I joined Bumble* WHY do all the guys have a mountain photo, bar photo, and sports game photo? Is that all they do??? Don’t they do more??

John: *Already noticed where I was going and laughing so hard* So guys don’t take photos like girls do. Ladies take photos of everything and guys aren’t going to stop to take a selfie. Their mountain photo is likely one from a family vacation a few years ago that their mom took. Everyone takes photos at bars and games and that’s literally all the photos they have. They don’t have other options.

Me: Ohhhhhh. That makes sense. Also explains the poor photo quality. Oh, I noticed they have pictures with kids or girls and say “oh that’s my nephew/niece/sister/etc”.

John: They’re trying to show they think family is important.

Me: Ick. Thanks that explains a lot.

Between Erin and John I’ve got myself a nice little squad now! They’re like extra siblings hahahaha. Since my sister ditched me to move to Chicago.

Oh yeah, my sister moved out. *Sob*

Except not really because she didn’t even tell me when she quit her job. How rude lol.

Okay few more really quick updates. School is great. I’m hungry. I need to workout. And I’m sleepy! All done.

Okay back to fall fashion! So here is everything I’m excited to wear in the next few months.

Booties

I have been waiting desperately for it to be cool enough to wear boots. I’m so happy it finally is getting cooler. I’ve been wearing an older pair to try and wear them out a bit more before throwing them out. Once I pick which boots I’m going to wear this year, I’m going to switch to those. I have plenty of options, if you remember my shoe collection! (I’ve been wearing #4 above but might switch to #2 or #3 as my “everyday” boots.)

Next is scarves. I shouldn’t wear them as I’m tiny and they make me look bulky but I love them. I have a ton from Charming Charlie. Ooooo maybe another collection post is in order.

I need to dig out my sweaters. I put them away after spring so I need to bring them back out to wear. I love knit sweaters as well as sporty sweaters. I’m super casual in my style although I’d love to have a more classic style!

This one is more beauty related but dark lipsticks. I love deep reds or burgundy shades and can’t wait to bring them out again!

One thing I really want to wear is beanies. I feel like I can’t pull them off and I look weird in them but I don’t even care. I want to wear them so I will! This is mostly a winter fashion and I don’t have a photo for it but still!

In the nicer months I don’t bother with nail polish as I work with my dad and it chips too often. It makes me mad to spend so much time on it only for it to be ruined so quickly. In late fall I have more time for it so I want to try and add it as a weekly routine again.

And I think the last one would be gloves. I love wearing gloves as there are so many icky surfaces if you think about it. I mean, I try to not to, but still. I like gloves because of the extra protection they offer against germs!

Leggings are also a plus. They’re too hot for summer but not for fall! I can’t wait to wear them with dresses or oversized sweaters.

  5. Oh gag, is pumpkin spice back?! It’s too soon 😕 I busted out my booties over the weekend, definitely one of my favourite fall fashion pieces! I’m with you on the beanies, I want to wear them too but they look idiotic on me 😂 Super gorgeous lipstick!

    • It is back!!! Time for all my basic-ness to shine through! LOL. Boots are literally my favorite type of shoe. I love them so much and couldn’t wait to pull them out. I’m sure I’ll be wearing boots until May again haha! And my dark lipsticks. I’m obsessed with both! Yeah, my head just is not shaped right for beanies. It’s a shame!

  10. I’m so jealous of all the areas that are starting to get cooler already! People here in San Diego joke that we’re a season behind because we won’t start to get cooler until November. I also like all other seasons a tad more than the summertime for the same reasons as you. Also – I love the boots in pics 3, 4 and 6!
