If We Were Having Coffee – September 2017!

Hi everyone! Can you believe it’s September already?? Me either so let’s grab a coffee and chat! I’m going to have an iced caramel macchiato, venti, light ice please. I’m sleep deprived! Although I don’t think caffeine does much except make my heart go BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM. My brain is still zzzzzzzzzzzz.

Oh and does anyone else have the new beta version of post writing on their WordPress app? It’s amazing!!! Finally I can do almost everything that my laptop can on my phone to write a post. It’s great!

Okay here we go with the coffee!

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you all about school so far. I mean, it’s not much but I have done some homework so far and still have so much more. Good thing we have the holiday weekend this weekend! More time for homework this first week!

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how jealous I am that my dad gets tomorrow off! He’s such a lucky duck. So I’m sending him to pay my car insurance. Well with my check but that’s one less errand for me! Speaking of, I finally got the Apple thing moving. Only took two weeks and constantly getting told there’s “nothing anyone can do”. Please. I worked in customer service and trust me, there’s ALWAYS something SOMEONE can do.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you all about my new position at work! Well all the exciting bits. I have three new accounts, and I believe they’re looking for my replacement in my old position soon so I’m excited to hand those off. Well mostly just one. But I was on my first client call with one of my new accounts today and I actually have met a lot of the people on the call before when I went to their event in Houston earlier this year. One of them had emailed me after the event to thank me for helping out and then she emailed me after the call to welcome me to the team! She’s so sweet and I’m so excited to work on that account more closely.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how I haven’t gone on a run in over a week until today (well yesterday when you read this) and now my legs are soooo angry with me. I need to stretch! Now if only I could start seeing some weight loss I’d be thrilled! Ah well, maybe I should try not eating candy everyday.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I really need to stop signing up for subscriptions and ordering boxes. I ordered another Target Beauty Box (came in yesterday, can’t wait for you to see!) and then am waiting for my Sephora Play box. I ordered another box that’s not a subscription and then signed up for a quarterly subscription. But I seriously do need to stop that.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how I’m getting ready to have a change of plans in my vacation. So I’d originally wanted to go to Cancún this year over the holidays as the office is closed. But my dad has family in Florida that have invited us so we may go there instead. Cancún would either be in February or next year. Either way, I’m excited!!!

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how excited I am for my parents to finally sell our old house. They’ve been renting it for years, unable to find a buyer but my dad is desperate to be rid of it. We finally have a serious buyer so please, please, please keep your fingers crossed that it sells! I know it causes my dad a ton of stress so it’ll be amazing to be rid of it. While it is my childhood home and brought happy memories we’re not interested in living in the past!

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how amazing yoga has been. I’ve been doing YouTube videos and I totally thought I was going to get bored and not take it seriously but the moment I tried it, I was hooked! I feel like my brain has been racing nonstop for 26 years, begging for a little break. Now it’s so relieved I’m finally giving it one a few times a week. I look forward to yoga and love practicing and finding places where I can improve.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how my MBA program has asked us to do a Meyer-Briggs type personality test for our upcoming workshop. I knew my type but did it anyway to see if it changed. It hasn’t. I’m still INTJ! I did a blog post on it before and I love my type so much. It’s so accurate!

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how even though I feel like I have so much to do I haven’t been this motivated in so long! I have a million ideas and they fly about in my head faster than I can catch them but it’s okay! They’ll get attention eventually.

If we were having coffee, I’d ask you what you’d tell me if we were having coffee!

So that’s my thoughts for the month. Oh I planned to change my post graphic layout as I’d used the old one for about two months now and I like to change things up every now and then. However the latest update to the app I use makes everything go crazy and I could barely get anything to work right so this one is staying for now!

So tell me, what would you talk about if we were having coffee? Leave me a comment!

Thanks for reading!

  3. Lots of exciting things coming up! I’ve been wondering if my Myers-Briggs personality would stay the same. I think I’m INTJ as well, but I haven’t done it in so long, so it’d be funny to do it again 🙂

  4. Hey Pamela! Love this series. I also love YouTube work outs! My favorites are yoga & Pilates — which yoga ones have you been doing? I’m always looking for new ones to try. Also, I recently took the Meyers Briggs personality test with my bf and we got the complete opposites of each other lol. I don’t remember what mine was, but I know it started with “IN” like yours :))

  5. If we were having coffee, I’d talk about how ready I have been for this three day weekend, because I need a break! I’d share some ideas I have for new recipes and blog posts, and I’d want to hear about school and how it’s going for you. (I love this post concept, by the way!)

This post is super cute, I love the idea of it. You’ve got so much going on in your life, if we were having coffee, I’d just sip and listen to you!

P.s. So good to hear that you got your dad’s iPhone fixed finally!

    • Yeah it’s pretty good!!! The main reason I never used it a lot is because it didn’t have the “read more” feature but it does in the beta now. I love the new look! And if we were having coffee we would have a wonderful time wouldn’t we! 🙂

  7. Congratulations on the job promotion Pamela! and I’m glad you finally got the problem resolved with Apple. Cancun sounds super exciting and Florida sounds nice too. If we were having coffee I would say how I’m looking forward to cooler weather, pumpkin spiced lattes (honestly pumpkin anything), adding some fall decorations to my room, working with children at my church and discovering new places to eat.
