Tag Me Tuesday – 15 Films Tag!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another Tag Me Tuesday with the 15 Films Tag! The amazing Angela did this tag and it looked like so much fun that I wanted to join in.

It’s 15 questions about films in general, not 15 separate films. Angela is much more versed in films than I am. Actually most movies that everyone’s seen, I haven’t, so that means I never get anyone’s references. Just ask my coworkers! Either way, it seems fun and I’m excited!

Here we go!

Question 1: Favorite Film

img_5672

Why is this so hard already? I’m going to go with the new live action Beauty and the Beast film! It was so beautiful and a great expansion on the film that I already loved.

Question 2: Favorite Scene in Favorite Film

img_5022

I loved the scene where Emma Watson as Belle runs up the beautiful hill by the village singing. That was my favorite part in the animated version as well. But it was truly magical in the live action!

Question 3: Favorite Actor

I’m going to go with Emma Watson, and not just because she was Belle and Hermione! It’s because she’s such an activist for women’s rights as well. She also started her very own amazing book club “Our Shared Shelf” and is a lovely lady overall.

Question 4: Favorite Director

img_4444

I am going to pick Alfonso Cuaron who directed my favorite Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He also directed Gravity. Although I would also say Kathryn Bigelow who directed both The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty.

Question 5: Film that makes you cry the most

Up_(2009_film)

Probably Up? That first part is so sad!

Question 6: Film Saga you have given up and why

The Lord of the Rings saga for sure. I know these are super popular and all but why are they so long? I have seen them but I didn’t pay much attention as I got bored and I know there are more of them now (apparently inspired by the book the Hobbit and somehow three films long even though it’s a very small book) so I won’t be watching more.

Question 7: Favorite Cinematographic Genre

Wonder_Woman_(2017_film)

I’m going to go with the same one as Angela and pick Superhero films! They’re so fun and so entertaining. I recently saw Wonder Woman and it was amazing! I’ve loved the Avengers films as well as the Iron Man and Captain America ones as well. And the X-Men films and Logan are incredible.

Question 8: Least Favorite Cinematographic Genre

Anything romantic. It’s really just not my cup of tea.

Question 9: Childhood Film

Beautybeastposter

The animated Beauty and the Beast film! I really love this story and the music, clearly! I promise, I’m not trying to pick only Disney films, it’s just happening!

Question 10: What Film You Would Like to Star In

Oh, a superhero film for sure! Angela, we need superhero alter-egos stat! If I had to be specific probably X-Men as I love that group so much.

Question 11: Films you want to watch

The first thing that comes to mind is all the 007 films I haven’t seen. Which is almost all of them. Pretty much the only ones I’ve seen are the Daniel Craig ones. Otherwise there’s a million on the list!

Question 12: In what film you would like to live in

Oooooo let’s go with Singin’ in the Rain for this one! That film is just too cute!

Question 13: What’s your favorite cartoon film?

Meet_the_robinsons

I love Meet the Robinsons a lot! It’s a very cute and funny movie that I think does not get as much attention as it should!

Question 14: Films you would recommend

Any of the films I’ve already said I liked above!

Question 15: Films that made you laugh

Well definitely Singin’ in the Rain. I’d also add in The Grand Budapest Hotel which I saw a few months back. That’s the next film that comes to mind that had me laughing!

So that’s my 15 Films tag! If you’d like to do this tag, go ahead and then remember to let me know so that I can read it!

  1. Ah yay!! I love how many times Beauty and the Beast showed up in this 😂
But yes, my favourite scene is where Belle is singing “I want adventure in that great wide somewhere, I want it more than I can tell”. Such a good line, and they shoot it so pretty!! (I’ve rewatched that part a lot 😛 )
We really need to become superheros Pamela. But HOW is the question. Radioactive insects? Struck by lightning? Become billionaires and build fancy robotics?

  2. Oh my goodness, I love Singing In the Rain! I used to have the dvd some years ago. That’d be a nice one to rewatch. I actually don’t think I’ve seen Meet the Robinsons. They are making kid’s movies hilarious these days. They are so good!

  3. What?! You have to see the other 007’s!! I own them all, Goldfinger, Dr. No, From Russia with Love and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service are my favourites but maybe not in that order. Also, same on the 3rd Harry Potter – that was a turning point for the entire cinematic franchise. LOTR has to be so long because they have to get everywhere on their little hobbit legs so the time lapse had to be realistic 😉
