My June Favorites!

Hi everyone! Oh dear, another month has flown by! I don’t think I’ve done nearly as much as I’d hoped in June, in fact my to-do list has grown even more! But the good news is that I do have quite a bit of favorites to share with you! More on that not-done-but-growing to-do list another time. Here we go!

June Favorites

A few of these you’ve seen in other posts, but they’re still favorites of mine this month so I’ve included them!

Eucerin Daily Protection Face Lotion SPF 30

First up is the Eucerin Daily Protection Face Lotion with SPF 30. I love this for a variety of reasons. Mostly, I work outside with my dad’s landscape business and so I need to protect my face! This lotion has SPF and makes my skin look amazing so I consider it a favorite for sure!

Earth Therapeautics Reflexology Food Massage

Next is this Earth Therapeutics Reflexology Foot Massage lotion. I talked about this before in a recent haul but it was recommended on Stella’s blog, and I’ve loved it! I don’t use this as diligently as I should but when I do I notice a considerable increase in softness in my feet. As you may know, I’m a dancer again (I’ll come back to this anyway in a bit) so my little feet need some pampering!

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

I also bought the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in 106 Sun Beige. I had run out of nearly all of my foundations at the same time (seriously, how does this happen), and didn’t want to use my Marc Jacobs one just for the office. I mean, I understand wanting to look good but considering how casual the environment is and the lack of hot single guys, it’s a waste! (We’re getting new neighbors on the floor who are either lawyers or investment people or both. I think people are just making things up at this point so I’m hoping there will be hot single guys. Oh, and hope they’re rich. I need an engagement pony. We’re seriously off topic now.) I actually had this in their 108 shade, which I think was caramel beige but I could be wrong. It ended up being too dark but I had liked it a lot. Unfortunately I realized after that L’Oreal is not a cruelty free brand. I’m trying to make more conscious choices so I feel bad that I’ve bought two items from them. Since I’ve bought it I will use it but I won’t be repurchasing!

Trader Joe's SPA Face Wash w/ Tea Tree Oil

I also ran out of my cleanser and completely forgot to get one when I was in Target. I stopped into Trader Joe’s for food stuffs after work one day and passed their health items section. I browsed a bit and picked up their Trader Joe’s SPA Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil and just in time! I literally ran out that night of the last tiny bit. I had other sample cleansers but I like to save them as I’ve been traveling more and more lately! I love this face wash because I think it’s the reason why my acne has been going away. It doesn’t really seem to be completely washing off my makeup though, even with two washes so I’ve been using a lot of it. I’ll likely need to get another cleanser to use with it.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

I think this is pretty much everyone’s favorite, isn’t it? The Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray is amazing. Our company summer outing was this month (more on that in my June Life post next week or check out my instagram to know where we went!) and it was super hot out! I thought my makeup was going to melt off so I sprayed my UD setting spray on in the morning and hoped for the best. Pretty much the only thing that didn’t stick was my eyeshadow but that was too much to hope for anyway. I can’t keep that in place to save my life! The rest of my face? Still pretty at the end of the day! (Well, it always is but you know what I mean!) This spray is life!

Broadway In Chicago Subscription

You’ve seen this before! My Broadway in Chicago subscription! I’m soooo tempted to renew for next season as I loved my seat in The King and I (which I told you in my day in the life post and my review of the show) but I do need to save money. The shows are ones I want to see for the most part and the last day to renew is July 2nd so I might as we got our bonus from work! Treat yo self?

Skyrim

I recently played Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim again for the first time in months and I had such a good time. I told you about how I forgot where I left my kids in the game (multiple homes, I thought they were in Solitude or Riften but they were in Markarth) and that took a lot of the time. I only played for a few hours so I did a few quests, found the family, tried to buy another house, and then put the game away. I don’t play video games as much as I would like to anymore. I really do love them though, and Skyrim will always have a special place on my gaming shelf!

Angelo Luzio BodyWrappers Ballet Slippers

And last, but certainly not least, my Angelo Luzio BodyWrappers Ballet Slippers! I signed up for an adult ballet beginner class for the summer and used these slippers that I bought a long time ago. I finally got the chance to use them! They’re a canvas split sole shoe and I find them much more comfortable than the pairs I used to wear when I first took ballet classes a few years ago. I’m very glad I picked these up!

And that’s all my favorites for the month! Let me know what you’ve been loving or leave a link to your recent favorites post below so I can go read it.

I recently went through and unfollowed blogs that were inactive for ages so I’m looking for new blogs to follow. Let me know if you have any recommendations!

Thanks for reading!

  2. I love that all the June favourite posts are now showing up everywhere, we’re officially in the second half of the year 😀 😀
I tried Skyrim once, but I just had no clue what I was doing and I kept getting thrown in jail for trying to kill the guards 😂 The game is too huge though and makes my laptop slow 🙂

  3. Well, I liked but couldn’t comment last night because I seriously crashed once the littles were in bed!!
Anyway, I didn’t realize your dad had a landscaping business – how cool!! Good for you that you’re protecting your skin! 💕 That’s so important.
I love trader Joe’s but the only skin/hair care item I’ve tried of theirs was a shampoo and it was awful! 😣 I’m glad you like their cleanser. 😊
Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up with some of your posts, I’m so behind!!!

    • Awwww well I hope you got plenty of beauty sleep! Is Baby Jelly Bean big enough to keep you up yet?
He does! We really only have one client as he wanted to go back to a full time but I love helping him. I can’t be out without sunscreen!
Was it that minty shampoo?? I didn’t like that one! But the tea tree oil cleanser is good. 🙂
Hahaha no worries! I’m sure life is keeping you busy!!! Miss you though ❤️
