Tag Me Tuesday – The Lottery Tag!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another Tag Me Tuesday! Today, I’m doing a new tag, the Lottery Tag! This tag was created by Natalie, an amazing lifestyle blogger. She’s seriously blog goals so go check her out!

Natalie left her tag pretty open to creativity and interpretation. Pick a sum you’ll win and tell everyone what you’d spend it on! She split hers into Small Stuff, Bigger Stuff, and Really Big Stuff. Since I liked how she did it, I’ll do the same!

To be honest I keep singing “96,000” in my head (from the musical In the Heights by Lin-Manuela Miranda). Let’s dream big and go with 96 million! Because why not?

Small Stuff

I’d buy new electronics for the home. I’d love to get myself an Apple desktop computer, a new fancy camera and a gopro, a projector to watch movies with, and probably a PlayStation 4 so I can finally play Until Dawn.

I’d love to take my mom on a shopping spree! She told me a few years back that she’d love to do this but would feel guilty so now she wouldn’t have to!

I’d buy my dad a new truck. He really wants a Ford Raptor.

I’d get subscriptions to all the Broadway in Chicago, Broadway in Milwaukee, and Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire.

Redecorate the house. I’d love to do that!

Bigger Stuff

Pay off my student loans, parent’s mortgage, and my sister’s student loans as well. We have an agreement in the family that if anyone ever wins the lottery, this is the first thing we’ll do.

Travel the world with my family. We’d go to Disney World, Cancun, Machu Picchu, and NYC to see Hamilton. I’d also love for us to go on a European vacation and go to a lot of the major cities. Oh, and Hawaii.

Really Big Stuff

Set up a long term financial plan. I wan this to last! Especially since I’m going to make my parents retire immediately.

I’d get an apartment or condo in downtown Chicago so I could go to all the musicals and maybe a vacation house in Cancun so the family could come with us.

Build my dream house complete with a barn for horses. A lot of my goals seem to revolve around houses.

Set up my own business.

Create a scholarship or grant of sorts to help underprivileged kids get adequate resources such as technology and fund arts programs.

  1. Thank you so much for tagging me! This is such a cool idea for a tag! It’s like something that people want to think about but feel guilty (but everything on it’s the truth 😂) to admit so a tag is the acceptable way to do it 😂 that would be amazing if you could get subscriptions to all the broadway shows! I’d be the same with Disney Land as my mum’s always wanted to go there and it would be so magical 😍 the first thing I would probably do though is treat the family to a restaurant and break the news there 😂 (whilst vans quietly come in and pack up our stuff for Disney! 😂) I can’t wait to write this now 😂 hope you’re having a lovely day 💗

  6. What a fun tag – thank you for tagging me. 😊 We always do a pool at work to buy tickets for the big jackpots, maybe manifesting a plan for the money will shift the universe in our favor!
