Two quick notes before I go into the award. I normally do tags/awards/etc. on Tuesdays, hence the “Tag Me Tuesday” but I’m adding Thursdays for a bit because I feel like I’m falling behind too much. Also I’m blogging everyday in May on honor of my birthday! In calling it “BirthMay” because I thought it was cute.

What change would you like to see in the world?

I love to see a world where everyone gets a quality education. Education was always so important to me growing up and school always came first in my house. It angers me that not everyone gets that opportunity.

What is your cause?

Like a charity? Hmmm I would say I’d love to support Malala’s. In the past I’ve supported my local library by volunteering once a week.

What would you like to know more about?

Ooooo that’s a tough one. I’d love to become more knowledgeable about politics.

Could you go a week without your phone?

Oh yes although it’s not ideal considering I write a lot of blog posts on it because it’s always on hand. In Mexico I didn’t always have connectivity in terms of internet so that sucked but I lived!

How often would you like to blog and what content would you like to offer if you had no limitations?

I’m blogging everyday and I’m loving it right now! Normally I blog three times a week and that’s also good. So at least three times. I blog about everything but if I had more knowledge on politics I’d do more posts on my thoughts about that!

What did you do on your last vacation?

That would be Mexico and I explored the pyramids in Teotihuacan! I’ve wanted to see pyramids since I was little so I was so happy about that! I also swam in the ocean on the previously private beach in front of El Chapo’s house in Acapulco. That still makes me laugh.

There were guards in front of the house. It was great!

What is the greatest lesson you’ve ever learned?

You can learn something from everyone you meet. I learned this when I was president of a student organization in college and my vice president was a terrible leader. So this piece of advice came as a form of saying I should learn what kind of leader NOT to be from her. But this can be applied in as many ways as the people you meet.

What is your best, healthiest habit? 

Mentally I’ve learned to manage my anxiety! Physically? Ummm I’m severely lacking in that department. Although I did recently do a 5k run and had fun, so I do want to do another!

What is love, in your point of view?

A concept that many people turn into a comedy. At its core it’s trust and support.

What do you think was the world’s worst invention? And the best?

Worst invention – anything related to that orange idiot I have to call a president. Best invention – hope.

Favourite time of the day?

Morning!

If you could eat one food forever what would it be?

Italian calzones! I love them so much.

Are you an indoor or outdoor person?

I’m an indoor person who wishes I could be an outdoor person.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Should I do another one since I did one above? Yeah I’m going to do that.

Don’t sweat the small stuff. I know, everyone gets this but my anxiety stems from wanting to be perfect and wanting everything else to be perfect. I have learned not to get stressed over every little thing. It has really helped! Being kind to myself and learning to not worry about every little thing helped.

What is the most surreal thing that has ever happened to you?

I think the most surreal moment for me was when I graduated college. I couldn’t believe the day had finally come! My parents had worked so hard to see that day and I was so happy to be able to let them see me walk across the stage.

Why did you start your blog?

I started my blog because I was in need of a creative outlet. I’m so happy I did!

Do you have any hidden talents?

Hmmmm, I played flute in school! I played for a little over 10 years in school.

What are your future aspirations?

I’d love to be an influencer in something positive. My dream job was always President of the United States but I think I might stick to being a private citizen advocating for human rights and voting for politicians that best represent my views for now.

If you could live in any country where would that be?

This changes for me all the time. I think right now I would chose England to have the chance to see the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Oh and the first UK tour of The Addams Family musical. Oh and when they get Hamilton over there too.

What is your favourite part of the blogging world?

The people and their endless creativity! It’s honestly so inspiring and I’ve made many new friends through it!
