Jingle Bell Book Tag! – Blogmas Day 20

Hey everyone! I saw this book tag floating around and thought I’d join in! I wasn’t tagged by anyone or will be tagging anyone but if you want to do it, I say go for it!

I’m going to do mine with books I’ve read this year only if I can. It’ll be so much fun!

Here we go!

“All I want for Christmas is You”  – What book do you want to see under the Christmas Tree?

I want to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them The Original Screenplay under the tree and actually… I know it will be! (Thanks sis!!!) (Also, is this cheating?)

“Simply having a wonderful Christmas time” – What book that you have read this year have you enjoyed the most?

Immediately the first book that came to mind is A Court of Mist and Fury. I have since bought my own copy of this book as I want to reread it and have it for myself, as you can see I’d previously read a library copy.

“It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas” – Which book has the most festive look to it?

I’m going to go with Hamilton: The Revolution for this one. I think because it not only looks so elegant, but because of the star that Hamilton helps make on the cover. It reminds me of the star on top of the tree! (Although this year we have an angel as our star is gold and our tree is silver and blue.)

“Elf” – What book unleashes your inner child?

A book that has recently done that for me is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I know there are mixed feelings about this and I’ve done a review on this book on my own thoughts (that you can read here if you want) but the nostalgia was huge for me as I was reading this because it was Harry Potter again!

“The Grinch” – Your favorite villain… *SPOILERS AHEAD*

I really enjoyed Maven as the villain of this story. I can’t wait to read about what happens next! Of course, I was so disappointed that he was evil because he had been so sweet and super into the rebel cause but oh well, what can you do?

“The Holiday” – Name your favorite TWO couples *SPOILERS FOR BOTH BELOW*

  1. ACOMAF – Feyre and Rhysand, of course!
  2. The Orphan Queen – Wil and Black Knife. They’re not really a “couple” but they kinda are, right?

Finally, what book would you like to give as a present to your followers?

I’m actually going to pick The Alchemist for this one. It was such a good book to read that had been on my TBR for such a long time before I finally actually read it. I really recommend if you haven’t read it yet!

And that’s my Jingle Bell Book Tag! If you’ve done this tag then let me know and I’ll check it out! Otherwise if you haven’t done it and you want to, go for it! It’s a ton of fun and it was a good way to look back through the books I’ve read in 2016.

Thanks for reading!
