Hey everyone! Phew! We made it to the end of November! I thought it would never come! Honestly, after recent events, I’m in such a hurry to get the next month over with. Still, I did manage to find items to include in my favorites so here we go!
First item and I don’t even have a photo for it! One day contacts! I went to get my eyes checked up and to order new contacts (where I live I have to have a current prescription from within the past year in order to buy new contacts). I went in with every intention of ordering the same contacts I’ve been wearing for years although lately I’ve been having problems with them because they keep ripping in my eye and, if you wear contacts you already know, that can be very uncomfortable. My doctor recommended I try one day contacts first as the old contacts I had were made of plastic and he now recommends silicone contacts as they’re more durable. I have been trying one brand and don’t like that it seems to stick in my eye but I’ve been loving not having to bother with solution and cases. I have another brand that I’m going to try for the next few days so we’ll see if those are any better.
One of my favorite things of the month were these delicious homemade cookies one of my new coworkers brought for the department. I must have eaten half the bag. They were so good!
And it’s Starbucks Holiday Cup time! I have gotten this Santa design twice and I think it’s really cute. I want to get some of the other designs but it just hasn’t happened yet! My drink of choice? Still the chai tea latte!
My sister took me to see the musical Singin’ in the Rain at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, IL. It was amazing! I can’t stop singin’ the songs from this musical and I kinda want to see it again. Also it rained on the stage!!!
I have really loved this dark teal green sweater from Eddie Bauer. It’s warm and comfortable which is perfect for me. I love sweaters that have zippers on their pockets, especially when I go riding because I can keep my phone with me. It also has thumb holes on the sleeves!
I guess this one is kind of cheating because I just bought it yesterday, so I haven’t really been enjoying it all month but I loved it so much I wanted to include it! I went to an antique mall yesterday and found this book in a locked case. I asked to see it and to learn the price and when I was offered 10% off I had to have it!

Unfortunately they removed the post it from the book but it did say this was a first edition of Jefferson and Hamilton and sighed by the author. The note card on top of the books in the photo above describes where the books were found (an estate from an Illinois judge/senator) and details that the price was on the post it that was removed. I bought two other antique books as well but I loved this one the best.
Going back to beauty, my Estee Lauder DayWear moisturizer is still amazing! So I have been slacking on my skin care this month but now I’m getting back into it. I am already halfway through my third jar of this (see the two empty ones above) so I need to stop by an Estee Lauder counter soon.
Continuing in my skin care theme, the Ole Hendriksen Nurture Me night cream is also a favorite. I really love the smell in this one and I’m halfway through this jar as well!
And lastly is these enchiladas that my mom made! They were seriously so good and my coworker saw them on my snapchat and asked me what restaurant I went to for them. I had to tell her that my mom made them for dinner. (Same coworker as the cookie coworker.) I had leftover enchiladas and they were still excellent!
And that’s my November favorites! I haven’t tried many new beauty things and the stuff I have tried haven’t really impressed me that much so this favorites is very non-beauty heavy.
