Product Review: Urban Decay Naked Foundation

Hello everyone! I haven’t done a product review in a long time so I thought I’d talk about one of my favorite foundations of all time. The Urban Decay Naked Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation has been one of my favorites for years but I’ve only recently started using it again. I would actually consider it to be a holy grail product for me. It was actually the first high end liquid foundation I bought when I started working.

I finally got tired of using the same foundation everyday (sorry Maybelline’s Fit Me) and I didn’t want to use my old BB creme (sorry Benefit’s Big Easy) so I pulled out my Urban Decay Naked.

Since it’s really gotten to the height of summer here in northern Illinois (above Chicago) I really wanted a foundation that was lightweight yet had good coverage and staying power. This one really does the job for me!

It’s also been great because my nose has been quite rebellious lately and any foundation I try to put on it does not stick at all. It just slides around and looks like a huge mess. While I still get a little bit of this with this foundation I don’t find it to be as big of a problem as it has been with other foundations.

It’s also very easy to build the coverage as well without feeling like I’m wearing pounds of make up. It also stays put all day, I use the Laura Mercier Translucent powder or Besame powder and spray the NYX setting spray. When I get oily throughout the day I use the Fit Me powder and that’s all I need for the day!

I use the shade 5.0, which is described on Sephora’s website as “medium shade, with slight golden undertones”. I think this color is perfect for me, even though I’ve had this bottle for forever!

I’m almost done with this bottle so I’ll definitely be repurchasing this foundation once I run out. It’s just perfect for the summer. True to it’s name, it feels like my skin is Naked!

So those are my thoughts on this foundation, let me know if you’ve tried this one or which is your holy grail foundation!

Thanks for reading!
